Ingredients
  

  • 200g wholegrain spaghetti
  • 150g crab meat
  • 30g unsalted butter
  • 1 red chilli, cut into small dice
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 lemon, juice & zest, extra to serve
  • 2tbsp full fat crème fraiche
  • 2tbsp chives, finely chopped

Method
 

  1. Bring a large pan of water to the boil, add salt, make the water as salty as the sea! Add spaghetti and cook till al dente 
  2. In a separate pan melt the butter over a low heat, sweat the chilli and garlic, add the crab meat, heat slightly then remove from the heat
  3. Spoon 1 ladle of pasta water into the crab pan, add the crème fraiche, lemon juice and zest and stir to combine
  4. Drain the spaghetti and add to the crab mix, stir through, plate and finish with chives
