A quick and simple way to get a crab dish on the table in minutes
Ingredients
- 200g wholegrain spaghetti
- 150g crab meat
- 30g unsalted butter
- 1 red chilli, cut into small dice
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 lemon, juice & zest, extra to serve
- 2tbsp full fat crème fraiche
- 2tbsp chives, finely chopped
Instructions
- Bring a large pan of water to the boil, add salt, make the water as salty as the sea! Add spaghetti and cook till al dente
- In a separate pan melt the butter over a low heat, sweat the chilli and garlic, add the crab meat, heat slightly then remove from the heat
- Spoon 1 ladle of pasta water into the crab pan, add the crème fraiche, lemon juice and zest and stir to combine
- Drain the spaghetti and add to the crab mix, stir through, plate and finish with chives
