A slightly festive porridge involving glorious brandy cream
Ingredients
- 100g porridge oats
- 400ml milk, full fat
- 1tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 handful of toasted almonds
- 2tbsp extra thick brandy cream
Instructions
- Place the oats and milk into a saucepan over a medium heat, stir and add the cinnamon
- Bring to a simmer, stirring often and allow to thicken for 5-6 minutes until desired consistency is reached
- Place the porridge into bowls and add a large spoonful of brandy cream to each, sprinkle over almonds and eat
